About TGSurf Q PLUS
This is a non-alcoholic (ready-to-use) disinfectant and cleaning solution containing quaternary ammonium compounds including benzalkonium chloride. This product has the ability to foam and clean surfaces and equipment in medical and dental facilities, including alcohol-sensitive surfaces, furniture and hotel items in healthcare and treatment centers. The ultimate effect of quaternary ammoniums is to damage the membrane of the pathogen and, in the case of bacteria, disrupt essential cellular processes such as ATP synthesis or solute uptake. Therefore, the amphiphilicity of quaternary ammoniums in interacting with target membranes and disrupting them is crucial for effective antimicrobial action.
